The Music Ministry of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church exists to glorify God and to advance the Kingdom of God through songs of praise and worship. Psalms 98:4-5 says: “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing”.

     The goal of the music ministry is to encourage the fulfillment of the Mission and Vision of Mt. Zion Baptist Church through:

• Christ-centered music that establishes an atmosphere that is favorable for worship
• The production of innovative, fresh, and creative music for the glory of God
• Participation in the worship service as an active and integral part of the service
• The development of the talents of all members .
